ABOUT US

The partners Nigel Kendrick and Joanne Lawlor first met over 20 years ago at American Express. Since then they have been successful in separate careers developing businesses and achieving personal success. 

 

Meeting again in 2019 they realised they both shared the same drive, principles, and desire to work to improve SME businesses.

 

Business principles have not changed but the products, services, technology, and progressive thinking now allows SMEs to move quicker, more cost effectively, and be more successful without the shackles of huge proprietary systems large corporations need. These opportunities can also be confusing, with so much choice that sometimes nothing gets done. Solutions Partners help prioritise what direction to take and where to focus making complex situations simpler.

NIGEL KENDRICK

Nigel has extensive experience in many sectors, including, construction, engineering, manufacturing, product development.

 

After cutting his teeth in sales in the construction industry he moved into subscription services at the AA heading up acquisition, retention and third party relationships.

 

Then, at BSkyB heading up the new direct business acquisition for digital. Expanding his experience he lead sales across Europe for American Express.

 

He spent 10 years at Bradford Exchange as Group Managing Director, growing a successful, highly profitable business which led to him to setting up his own businesses and advising others.

 

Across his career Nigel has developed skills in third party negotiations, database design, financial management and consumer segmentation alongside infrastructure and process reengineering.

 

Nigel has a passion for supporting SMEs and looking for solutions that may not always be the obvious.

JOANNE LAWLOR

Joanne started her career in the travel industry which developed her customer focus. Building on this she moving into marketing at American Express. Starting in loyalty and retention gave her the insights needed to carve out her career in product development which led to the development and launch of the American Express Centurion card. She went on to implementing the product and services that come with the product across international bank partners.

Moving to an international concierge company she set up the first B2B self service concierge and travel platform for bank partners to service their clients.

 

Based on her extensive experience she became CMO for a fintech start up including brand development, driving funding rounds and building the customer base. 

​

With experience from brand and product development Joanne has also developed servicing platforms, HNW events and benefits working across a matrix environment. 

 

Joanne also shares a passion for SMEs and understanding their customers to help their clients understand where to focus their products and services for the most profitable return.

Solutions Partners is a group of multi disciplined, cross industry experts that specialise in helping businesses of all sizes reach their goals. The focus is on what ‘will make the difference’ to a business. It could be simpler processes, more sales, IT improvements cost savings or simply creating a successful team culture.
